What Size Sparklers Should I Use?

suggested sparkler size chart

How many sparklers to order and what sparkler sizes to order are some of the questions that we get ask the most often. You have the #10, #20, and #36 size sparklers, what should I use for my wedding. All three sparklers sizes are good for different setups. All of our sparklers are metal/wire and produce very low amounts of smoke. Metal sparklers do not create any ash when they burn. The material that is burned is still attached to the metal wire even after the sparkler burns out.

#10 Sparklers

This is the smallest of the three sparklers sizes, it burns for about 35 seconds and really is hard to use on weddings that have over 100 guest. When you are trying to lite a sparkler for each guest and have everyone's burning at the same time for the couples exit, the #10 Sparkler gives you a tight window of time. Which is why most guest have to have two 10 inch wedding sparklers. These metal sparklers are actually best not for the exit but for guest favors or for individual pictures.

#20 Sparklers

These are the most popular sparklers used for weddings. They are 20 inches long and have a burn time of 2 minutes. With this length of a burn time it gives 150 people or less a good amount of time to get all of the guests sparklers lite and enough time for the bride and groom to make their exit without having to worry about sparklers burning out. These are the best sparklers for 150 people or less exits. They are the sparklers also that you should use to write the word "LOVE" or draw a HEART for a photo.

#36 Sparklers

These 36 inch sparklers are the longest lasting sparklers on the market. They are 36 inches long and burn for 3.5 minutes. If you plan on having over 150 guest for your event you should use the #36 sparklers. These long lasting sparklers are perfect for wedding sparklers pictures, and for longer wedding exits.
